Gary takes flight

This is the first test flight for Gary and his new Jetpack!!

Finally got some time at the keyboard so making the most of it.

Got to love it when the family are asleep and you can code into the wee hours. (not really, much ratyher be coding 9-5 but you what you gotta)

Gary live rollout commenced

Exciting times. I just pushed the button on releasing Gary and the Avalanche into production on the google play store!! (need more exclamation marks)

Will take a couple of hours to become available for all and sundry, so will post again when this happens and start telling all the peeps to go get their Gary on.

Gary and the Avalanche – Hits the brakes

Just a quick update to demo the first of 2 collectible powers up that will be in the game. This one allows Gary to hit the “brakes” to slow down his decent. This is going to be super handy for those times when you miss your mogul and are falling to your death.

Super proud of this function as I could find nothing on google to help me figure out how to make this effect work. This is a 100% homegrown coding solution and it looks and works a treat.

Still need to add the actual collectible and on screen controls, game logic etc… but the core function of actual braking is all sorted.
