We are excited to announce that we are working on a new game project with the super talented 3D modelling artist Zac Van Dyck.
Check out his work here https://zac-van-dyck.art/
Details about the new game will be released shortly.
I can tell you that it will be MoreDragons first 3D game and it will not feature our beloved adventurer Gary.
Long time no post.
Last post I spoke about a new opportunity (Zimpla) that might lead to some full time/ part time work. Well, so far so good. Things are going very well on the new project and hopefully by the end of January 2019 i’ll be no longer working nights (though i’ll keep a couple just to be on the safe side).
In super exciting news, MoreDragons had our best month ever in terms of advertising revenue. We made just over $60 this month. Mostly from Gary and the Pogo Stick and mostly from 2 days of heavy traffic (xmas and boxing day). Still, super stoked about this.
Really gets the game building juices flowing again. When things settle down on the work front i’ll definitely have to get busy finishing off Gary and the Getaway.
Thx again to all our players and everyone who has/is supporting us.
Have a great new year guys and hope 2019 is your best year yet.
Long time no post.
Some of you may be wondering whats happening with Gary and when his next adventure is due to come out.
Then answer is, Gary is still alive and well in my mind but his place in my priorities has slipped a little.
After moving house, the plan was to get back into it and build Gary and the Getaway, however a new opportunity has presented itself which with luck will lead to an amazing work from home part time job. I am throwing all my energy into this atm, as if it pans out i’ll double my income while working 3 days a week from home. This will leave 2 days a week to work on Gary and I’ll have my nights and weekends back. AMAZING!!
Stay tuned for hopefully more updates during November and thanks again for all your support.
Apple are the worst!!
Gary and the Jetpack runs on everything. Everything tested and working. Android, deployed and live on the app store with in an hour. Thx!! you guys rock!!
Apple, running on my iPad no issues. Built for app stopre, compiles and no errors. Upload to app store. wait for a review over night. Error, app wont load at all?!?! get crash logs. Completely friggin useless as they are not symbolicated (i know what the hell is that even?) but i ticked the box and uploaded all the stuff to get symbolicated crash logs so thx!!
2 hours of googling and still cant symbolicate the crash logs.
Send multiple messages and get links to super long and quite honestly unhelpful articles about nothing. Still can get usable crash logs. cant get any feedback from them at all re: where the app crashes.
If they didn’t have the market share they do I don’t think anyone would actually develop for them.
Only thing different between avalanche and jetpack is i’m setting the target framerate to 60 for smoother graphics because of course apple defaults to 30 which looks shit and you need to manually tell apple not to suck!! So made this same change to avalanche and have uploaded to app store to see if this change causes avalanche to fail or if its fine.
while i’m at it. uploading to google takes about 5 minutes. processing about 2 minutes. App store, 40 minuts to upload and 45 minutes to process. Legit!!
There endeth the rant for now!!
